The owner of this popular online poker community, FreerollArmy.com, wanted his website re-developing. He already had a basic web forum, but he wanted a new custom website design, a content managed website integrated with phpBB2 web forum software, a system to manage his advertising banners, as well as a lot of updates, feature additions & other modifications to the forum software.
We wrote a custom content management system, so the owner of the website can update the content & the advertising banners on the main part of his site easily himself. We then integrated this custom CMS with the latest version of the phpBB2 web forum software that his site uses. He didn't want to upgrade to phpBB3, so using our knowledge of phpBB2, we updated it ourselves. We fixed security issues, prevented spam attacks, improved performance & scalability so that it could handle periods of heavy traffic, optimised the page loading times, while also adding many new features.
